Default BFG AT KO 10 ply ??

Does anybodyhave expierence or know abouttheBFG AT KO 245/75/R16? These tires are only offered in a 10 ply, seems like this would be pretty stiff. If you have them or know someone that does let me know what you think.

They are probably the best AT on the market and you only run then in the mid 30 PSI range. They ride really well and have great sidewall strength.

I have been running the BFG AT KO 245/75/R16 tires. They wear very good and wet and snow traction is great.

BFG offers 8 ply tires in sizes 245/70/16, and 255/70/16 would either of these be a better option?

would the wider 255/70/16 be tobig for a stock diso with 135 k mi suspension ?

or is the 245/75/16 in a 10 ply in the 30 psithe way to go?

Iwill bereplacing with OME springs and shocks but not for a few months, and I need tires now ( headed up to CO for a couple ski trips!!). does OME not offer a stock height I could not find anything but 2" lifton the website?

What is wrong with your springs? Shocks will make a big improvement in ride. Also consider a new steering dampener. You will be happy with the 245/75/16 10ply. They can take a heavy load if needed. You will also get less sidewall deflection with the 10 ply.

Nothing wrong with the springs I just assumed after 135 k mi they would be worn out.

mike,
how much diference in psi between the front and the back?

Willie,
what psi are you running your tires at ? Why new steering damper ?

5#'s give or take a few.
You are right abiut your springs, after 50,000 miles you will loose an inch or more in height.
