Default Definity Tires from PepBoys

Does anyone have any info on these tires? I found that they are made by Cooper, but I can't find any available size charts. Anyone have any experience?

Chris

What year and model are you driving, what size wheels?

Read my thread.... http://www.landroverforums.com/m_64704/tm.htm

I just brough the Definity Dakota MT's 245/75/16 from Pepboys days ago, buy 3 get 4th free and they are great on myDiscovery 1.

Also it is hard to find a size chart, but check the Pepboy's ad, the sizes are listed there, and yes these are made by Cooper and are sold exclusively at Pepboy's under the Definity name.

Also what Mike said, details on the year and model of your LR are needed and what tires you want...

I have a 99 Disco II. I have these tires on my 03 Ranger FX4 Level II and I getting ready to put these on my Disco. I love these tires. The wear is good, along with the ride. I have no complaints. I am running the all terrains not the MT's but they are still great tires.

Don't like cheap tires, they make too much road noise.

Red face Definity Tires

Was in New Orleans (vacation) at end last week and had shrapnel like metal in 3 of four tires and Pep boys was the only place that had four tires in stock and could put them on immediately. I had replaced the rear two with Michelin AT several months ago (front were fine but rear had scraped on side)..Anyway replaced all four and the difference in the road noise was amazing. The ride was super smooth and for the first time in 10 years, could hear inside car with no "road rumble." Might not be the tire I keep forever or for off road but, very quiet ride at 80 mph on highway. I recently had windshield replaced also and drove to DC from NC the next day. It was similar to driving in a wind tunnel with windshield "whistle" took back to Safelite (will NEVER Recommend Them) and discovered I could slide fingers inside under side gaskets and also while driving in horrible rainstorm rubber trim along bottom of window caught tailwind from passing truck and slid out sideways getting stuck under wiper rendering useless on I-95 in 5pm traffic near Quantico. Went back to Safelite and then to my own mechanic's shop and sealed the sides and bottom trim and that alone was a huge improvement in interior noise reduction. With the new tires, it is the quietest ride I never knew I could have...what happened next I will post on the driveshaft forum...bad..very bad..but, turning out okay....
