Default They rub!

I got a heck of a deal on very lightly used 265/60 18 Yoko Geohandlers. After doing research on this and the main site, I thought for sure I would be clear as I have stock 18s but and truck was converted to coils. (I heard they only rub in access height...not a concern for me.) They look outstanding. It turns out the rub sometimes when I take turns going into and out of my drive. I removed the front mud guards, but didn't have a chance to drive it yet. I hope this helps with the rubbing.

Default RE: They rub!

scotttinNJ, I'm no positive but look at your steering knuckles,I think the p38's also had steering stops like the older cars,an adjustable bolt that restricts the movement of the knuckle,if your axel has them . you can make a small adjustment to keep the tires from rubbing, note that it also reduces your turning radius.

Thanks Dirtyduk. I took the truck for a spin today and I think removing the front mud guards did the trick.

By the way, where in NJ is your shop located? You've been so helpful to so many of us, I would love to return the favor by using your shop.

As always, thanks for your input.
