Default Tweel... Future of off roading tires?

So i was just browsing around and I spotted something interesting. You may have herd of it. It's the Tweel. The Tweel is a combination of a tire and a wheel, but instead of an air filled tire they use a type of flexible spokes that connect to a tire tread. Well maybe I'll just show you a picture...

But! Imagine how this could improve off roading! No flats, and great traction because your Tweel would fourm to the terain extremely well.

Well thats it ... just thought I would share that...

That's a pretty interesting thing to see in off roading. But good god is it ugly! rofl. Seriously though you may have a good point. I'd be interested to see how it would work with some big ol' m/t lugs on it. And maybe just put a thin strip of rubber on the outside so it doesn't look so god awful!

Vary Innovative but side wall traction is really important in a Off road inviroment. Looks Good for street use.
