Default wheels/tires probably before lift

I was planning on getting a 2.5" lift, seems the highest doable on my 2000 disco without needing new break lines and drive shaft, and i was going to go with the black rims and get some nice offroad/snow tires. yes, mostly for show, but i do love driving in deap snow/rain on the roads, i havent trail ridden other then fire roads, might think about it in the future but not until i have another vehicle.

anywho, my tires now are unknown miliage dunlop grandtrek 255/65r16 on stock silver wheels. i was planning on after the lift, getting the 16x7 black steel rims listed on Land Rover Parts & Rover Accessories From Atlantic British | Discovery, Range Rover, LR3, LR2, Defender, Freelander and Land Rover Series Parts & Accessories and by recommendation 245/75-r16 tires. i was looking at goodyear wrangler duratrax, got solid reviews, look beefy and are decently priced. now, looking at my tires now, and knowing winters not all to far away, im thinking im going to have to get the wheels/rubber sooner then the lift kit, maybe even just rubber unfortunatly! 2 of the sidewalls look rather iffy, and i found a few patchs from the previous owner.

that also aside, does anyone know if those goodyears in that size will fit the stock rims now without problem? the rim size is the same, but im forgetfull with tire sizes, the goodyears are slightly shorter, but alittle wider, but i dont think either will cause misfittment correct? id actually like a TALLER tire if someone might suggest a bigger on that will fit my stock wheels?

and second, i assume if they DO fit stock, they will also fit the black steel rims that i will get down the line? all they say is 16x7 but i cant find the width of the stock rim... ill assume its also 16x7 no?

alright, thanks all in advance!

By the way Dura Trac's are great tires.
