That happened as I was driving with my previous Range Rover hse- car just stopped and when I restarted it everything was flashing with warnings like that- it was a loose wire from a computer module- never happened again. but what a way to spend Christmas Day!

Most probably a bad battery.

Ok. My Mercedes G-wagon broke down one evening. I was inconvenienced. It was repaired. I didn't think to go to the G-wagon forum to complain because it wouldn't have helped.

Sorry for a bummer of a Christmas Day !

More than once (due to a a string of battery voltage issues) my Evoque shut down all the servomotors and part of the main computer board in the vehicle to protect them from trying to run with inadequate voltage. A new, fully charged battery with good cells solved the issue.

Not like the old days when low voltage just meant the headlights dimmed and the starter motor barely turned over.
