The 2021 Defender build function is now available on the Land Rover USA website:

I noticed that you need to move up to the X-dynamic model if you want the HSE features. (Which I want) And my 2021 build is about $2500 more expensive than my similar 2020 build.

I really like the Hakuba silver, I might have chosen that over the Tasman Blue. I also get a kick out of the signature black package for 200. They put black over the pillar box and the A pillar. I plan on doing the same thing with a black gloss vinyl wrap which will cost me at most 50.00.

It also seems you need a black roof as well, I wanted only the A pillars and the box blacked out. Looks like wrap for me too.
What do you all make of the X Dynamic package? It seems like the truck stacks up to be a few grand more for 2021 when you compare HSE to HSE. It also seems that the gap between the SE and HSE has narrowed, are the seats the same leather/robustek combo? I like the grey bumpers, but not sure its worth the increase and the newer interior is quite a bit darker.

Fog lights were standard on the 2020 HSE, but there are a few additions on the 2021. "Illuminated Metal Treadplates with Land Rover Script", rear tow eyes exposed, and some infotainment stuff as you mentioned.
I'm wondering what "Satin Silicon Silver Front and Rear Skid Pan" is. Do you think this is redundant with the Front Undershield accessory? I'd like the front tow eye exploded permanently, but not at the cost of $1,600.

I think requiring HSE buyers to get the X-dynamic model was just a way for LR to discretely increase the price. Maybe for the extra cost we will get slightly better build quality with some of the first year bugs worked out. Maybe our A-pillar trim won't howl or fall off. Maybe Nokian winter tires will be available in Defender sizes by next year.
Although as my Defender build cost is now $80K, it makes the new Audi SQ7 a very tempting option at $90K. I know it can't go offroad but it would surely be a blast on-road. I'll just use my wife's LR4 for offroad adventures.
