Modern traction control aids are eating rear brakes very quickly. I can't imagine how a "wheeled" Rover of any type will have brakes that last more than 20,000 miles.

I hope the locking rear diff makes a difference on this.

I had Torque Vectoring on my 2015 Range Rover Sport, and I did go thru brake pads much more quickly than I wanted.

Strange. The last five words are removed on the 2021 configurator. 2021 buyers beware .... will need to dig a bit with the dealers maybe to understand what is in and out?

any new info on this issue with the 2021 MY missing the “torque vectoring” label? My dealer (USA) is saying torque vectoring on the 2021 MY is only available with the “off-road-package” and is not a stand-alone item anymore for the 2021 MY.

I was just told the same yesterday. I told them the issue was that I didn't want to pay for tires, trying to get them to work something for me.

Same here. I do not want those off-road tires. I went ahead and ordered without the off-road package. My dealer is not seeing the e-diff either without the off-road package selected in their internal system. I won’t be doing any kind or serious off-roading so won’t really miss the e-diff. Not sure if I’ll regret not having the torque vectoring? Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Just a quick clarification, the X is different than a HSE? In what sense? I preordered the X last year then the HSE showed up!

The 2021 defender 110 X build has no adaptive cruise while the 2020 that I ordered has one. Is that a 2021 change?

Shouldn't adaptive cruise be a safety feature on every car? I have it on my 2018 Atlas and I definatley want it on the Defender when I get it.

It's only available in the 110X that's why I waited for it and early built/preordered it last year. The first edition, HSE, SE, X-dynamic don't have it.
