The Gibb River Road

I live slightly South... About 600km. However, when my defender eventually arrives, we intent to tackle a bit of The Gibb. Will you take your defender on The Gibb?

Thanks to those who responded.

A lot of people I know say 'no'. But there's so much to see on the Gibb, so I think a convoy of three cars is an awesome option.

Car is almost here, and we still have a few months to prep. We will see how we go.
Cheers!

It looks spectacular. I mourn the fact that the continental US no longer has any sort of extended western wilderness like that. If I weren’t half-a-world-away I would have already done this in my Jeep, and would be deep into the planning for doing it in my D110. Enjoy!

I think that looks like an awesome trip. Provided you prep accordingly I don’t see a reason not to go. Wish we had something similar here in the US. Suppose Moab or Baja could be close, unfortunately I’m on the opposite side of the country…
