Khaki Interior?
Folks,
I found a really nice 2020 110S that checks all my boxes and has the khaki windsor full leather interior. Pictures appear to show a wide range of coloring on it, but appears more tan/gray than green to me. I'm curious how people like it and where they think it falls on the color spectrum as they've lived with it. I'm normally a tan/acorn person, but I really like the unique look of it, especially when paired with a Tasman exterior. I've also found over time that darker colors age better (may be a personal kids/dogs experience). Any comments/pics would be much appreciated. |
I have the windsor leather upgrade .. PM me your email and ill send you some pics if youd like

For comparison, here’s vintage tan Windsor/Tasman.

Hmmmm… The above looks just like my regular (non-Windsor) Khaki, other than being tan where mine is green. On mine, the tan material on the seats is perforated leather (I have cooled seats); the black bit around the sides is some hi-tech fabric that’s supposed to wear better than leather, and the tan on the console box lid is leather, but the tan on the leading edge of the dashboard is a neoprene-like spongy material.
Is that how yours is, and if so, what does “Windsor” denote? I always thought it meant all leather, with seats a single color. But I was never really interested in it so I didn’t pay much attention when ordering. |

On the early X models, you could get Windsor in either all black, or that two tone vintage tan/black combo as above (ie not all one color). They've revised the color ways since and it's offered in a few different colors as well and I think the 2 tone may have gone away in the configurators. |
Here you go... Pics don't really do it justice tbh... Very comfortable as well
We were worried it would look orange, but it doesn't at all https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/landrov...3b859f189d.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/landrov...46a770f581.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/landrov...54a3d7e7a7.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/landrov...d46f4e9a6d.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/landrov...cc61de7183.jpg |
^^^ Yeah, that’s what I’ve always pictured Windsor looking like, i.e. full leather, including the outer edge of the seating surfaces that’s not perforated, where mine is synthetic. But are you saying “Full leather” is one thing, and “Windsor” is a different thing, and that you can have Windsor interiors that are Full leather or Leather & Synthetic, and you can have non-Windsor interiors that are Full leather or leather and synthetic?

Windsor is the type of leather. It's smoother and higher grade. As opposed to the lower level leather which is grained a bit more. Very easy to tell by comparing the two side by side, but without them side by side, it's a bit tricky.
