Nov 15th OTA Software Install Problem
We took our our P300 for a some light off-roading in the desert yesterday and without asking it updated itself to the latest software update ( O.S 2.0.4 P3C10). This is all well and good, except it left us stranded in the middle of no-where and without shade or cooling whilst it did its thing, luckily it was only 78 degrees. I had set it to schedule the update in the evening, but it ignored the request and did it when it liked, rendering the car immovable.
After the update (which took an hour) the key fob no longer can operate the rear remotely, everything else seems to work ok so far.

Originally, when the car was locked and alarmed, you could press the rear door button to just open the said door without having the palava of the wing mirrors opening and then having to lock and re-alarm the car. now the button doesn't do anything.
I will say though, after the update, the pivot pro system is far more responsive. Small wins I guess

Beautiful picture! Ridiculous software update feature. I'm looking forward to the day (post-pandemic) when I'm on my way to a client meeting, stop to get gas, spend an hour at the gas pump with a software update then am late to the meeting. Hope they can get the software to acknowledge the update install time requested.

That is an awesome pic for sure!
I use an Ipad for navigating logistics for appointments for my job and sometimes google maps will choose to update itself when I am in a rural area with limited to no service. Although its only supposed to update apps over wifi, it continues to do this and the app wont open until the update is complete. Super fun when you have no idea which gravel road in a forested hilly area you are supposed to take.
Btw what is the ceiling clearance required when you have the roof rack on? I am wondering if I will have issues with one fitting in my garage?

Regarding the height of the vehicle with the expedition rack fitted and on 18in wheels with 255/70 R18 tires and the suspension set to access height. It measures 79" / 2 meters / 6.58 ft high.
With the suspension set to normal ride height it measures. 80.5" / 2.04 meters / 6.7 ft
I have to drop the suspension to access height to get it in the garage and I have 1.7 inches clearance. The garage ceiling hoist to drop the roof top tent onto the rack was a complete waste of money!
