I was told the “order call” was expected this month or no later than December. This from a dealer in PA. COVID-19 cited as reason for the delay.

Always the reason. Just like nobody gets the common cold or flu anymore. Must be COVID....

I just placed my order today for a 2021 Defender 90. Just by chance, I reached out to my dealer yesterday to see if orders were open and they informed me that they had one dealer order or allocation so far and that it was not customer reserved yet. I went in today to discuss and was told that this is their very first "allocation" and that they were just going to place the order with their dealership specs but changes could be made up until 12/19/2020 if I wanted to reserve it and make changes to my liking. We sat down and configured it the way I wanted and I put my deposit down! I'm not sure when they submitted their order originally, but the "Last Amendment Date" is 12/19/2020 and they estimated my delivery to be March/April 2021.

MY21 Defender 90 P300
Tasman Blue w/ White Contrast Roof
18" Satin Dark Grey wheels w/ off road tires
Off-Road Pack, Advanced Off-Road Capability Pack, Air Suspension Pack

I went back and forth over the air suspension vs. coil springs, but decided to go for the air. After seeing the video reviews and capabilities of the coil sprung 90's at Eastnor Castle, there is no doubt I would have been just fine with the coil suspension, but I figured having the adjustable ride height may come in handy someday.

Now the long wait begins!

I'm very excited to see the first D90's here in the states and more so to have the forum folks post up when they get theirs in.

Congrats Dave, nice order! The other advantage of the air suspension is self-leveling when loaded with people, dogs & gear.

Thank you and great point about the self-leveling!
