Default What brand PPF on Carpathian Edition ?

Hello - I have a 23 v8 Carpathian Edition that got dented in the parking lot. So I had the dent taken care of and repainted. I am now trying to match the factory wrap but I am having trouble getting it match the rest of the car. I am just doing one of the rear passenger doors..

Does anyone know what brand and model PPF LR uses for the Carpathian Edition? Is it XPEL Stealth? Or ?

Thanks for any input.

You can buy the wrap directly from Land Rover

Do they sell only one panel? I have the Trophy Ed., when I asked the dealer I was told LR only sell the whole wrap.Which is crazy. Knock on wood, I haven't needed to go down that route (yet).

A service guy at LR of Santa Fe told me that the factory uses a 3M product, and they have a local guy who does a lot of single-panel film replacement, but I have no idea if that's accurate.

I believe it is made by Xpel.

My Defender is at PFS in Santa Ana this week getting clear ppf on the black painted areas and trim pieces, ceramic coating exterior, interior, wheels and calipers, and tint the widows. While it's in, I having them put satin ppf on the door handles and door cups so it looks more cohesive. They're installing XPEL, so it'll be interesting to see how it matches to the factory ppf.

Thanks everyone for the input.

I called my local LR dealer parts dept and there is indeed a part # for this. There is apparently no stock right now, at least not here in Canada. For the rear driver side door the part # is LR138357.

I am trying to find out who makes it as it will likely be faster for me to get it that way vs the original LR part. So far it seems it's between 3M and XPEL. I have been told that LR uses a lot of 3M product.

I will post back here if I find out who makes the LR film.

Thanks.

Someone hit my defender when it was parked in a garage but thankfully the majority of the damage was to the wrap. I took it to the dealership and they told me it was Xpel, and sent me to a local place in Austin so they could do it cheaper for me. The dealership was quoting me $1800 for parts plus labor for the rear panel over the tire and a couple of small sections near the rear brake light. I went to Xpel and paid $275 for all sections including labor.

And does it 100% match to the factory stuff to your eye?
