This is the Stek matt. I did the complete car to protect the gloss black and the paint. Great install by Diamond Auto Spa in WEstlake Village.

l'm in Ventura County as well and was looking for a shop to install mine. I was also looking at wrap labs in Westlake. Would you be willing to share a ballpark you paid for the wrap at Diamond?

Thanks!

Do you know if they used computer pre-cut for this, or went with custom?
Also, I wonder if anyone has thoughts or experience with the OEM Extended Wheel Arches. i.e. should you PPF the car, and then have OEM arches over (where the tape is then sticking to PPF vs the body); or should one have the arches put on to the boy, and have PPF cut to the top of the arches?

That is a question for your installer. My installer specifically asked me NOT to install the wheel arches before the PPF, and they are going to install the arches on top of the PPF. Any future problems would be covered under the 10-year warranty- including removing/reinstalling the arches as needed.
Why are they doing it this way? I’m not really sure - it certainly makes for a cleaner look, but seems more costly for any future problems.

This may be one of those rare examples the factory PPF is actually cheaper than doing it independently. I did notice the factory install does not seem to roll the edges of the wrap, but that is not a huge deal.

I also noticed the satin wrap is not available on all colors. It would have been cool to do the carpathian edition for a deep discount if that color included the satin wrap option.

In summary, if you’re planning to get it PPFed, just do it from the factory.

[QUOTE=p010sp0rt8;793100]I had my Yulong white wrapped in Xpel Stealth on the white and Xpel on the black - then ceramic coated.

That Yulong white looks awesome. I have a Fuji white XD HSE on order and can make changes for about another 10 days. However, seems satin protection film not an option with either of the whites (only gloss). Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

This is Eiger Gray with full matte PPF (xPel Stealth).
The black lower trim doesn’t quite match the fender flares, but whatever.

Based on an earlier post, I ended up going to Diamond Auto Salon in Westlake, to go with STEK DynoMATT stain wrap, on my Pangea Green, plus did tint, painted front upper grille and door handles black, and they installed my extended wheel arches. Plus did regular PPF on all piano blacks. they knocked it out of the park.

Longer Review here: https://www.yelp.com/biz/diamond-aut...vglFhjsGmaQ3Dg if you are based in Los Angeles and looking for a shop.
