Overland Expo East 2018

I have gone in the past and to be honest it just wasn't worth the money to me.

I agree. I will add that when it was at the Biltmore in Asheville, you could attend the expo for free with a day pass for the Biltmore. That was worth it for us because you got to enjoy both, and the scenery there was awesome. But to attend just the expo i’d say no. I’m curious to see if they have it in NC again next year. They are terrible at planning and grounds layout. How they didnt plan for rain is beyond me when this has happened before. I’m sure a lot of people were not happy when their mall crawlers got stuck on arrival and others were turned away. |
I also heard a ton of complaints about people being left without transport from the way off site parking. To me it's just not worth it. I can spend 25% of that cost and have a 4 day overland trip with a bunch of friends. Out making my own memories instead of wondering what its like from someone elses story.
