Dyna Mat or other sound deadener

Dyna Mat or other sound deadener
So, following the lead of others I painted my headliner vs. recovering with material. This has resulted in the interior noise at highway speeds being louder than I want to live with.
Saying that, I'm now looking at removing the entire interior and putting in some sound deadener. Looking for ideas/experience from others who have done this.
What did you use....
How much did you need....
What are the end results.....
Thanks, Eddie

I installed a box of 80 mil Killmat (bought on Amazon) in my LR3. I put a layer under the rear carpet and inside the doors. Really liked the solidness of the doors after installation especially after upgrading the speakers. The LR3 has a lot of foam attached to the carpet, so, slight improvement in the rear. But I think the D2 has less foam stock. Definitely, do the doors!
