Default spray in bed liner?

I am thinking about putting spray in bed liner on the top of my discovery. There are a bunch of scratches and I need to do somthing so it doesn't rust. Also the bed liner will cost about half as much as having it repainted. Does this sound like a good idea or am I just wasting my time and money?

Thanks for your imput.

Interesting, I always wondered how that would look.It kinda gives the impression that the roof is made of another material....hum....interesting.I wonder how this stuff would look below the mouldings? It sure would bulletproof things down there. It think if it were done right(mask a 1/4 inch in from the door gaps),it would look like cladding....interesting indeed.

I Rhino lined the lower portions on pickup held up very well for the 5 years I had
it very easy to clean ... My old jeep was Rhino lined inside after removing the carpet as well as under the wheel wells and around the soft top sealing area it quieted the ride down and cleaned up great
They CAN colormatch Rhino lining too
