CarPlay for 2017 LR Discovery
 

First post on this forum from a new member who actually doesn't even have an LR but asking for a friend. He has a 2017 LR Discovery and want to add CarPlay. I'm more familiar with BMWs and some 2017 and later BMWs can be programmed to enable CarPlay if it wasn't added as an option from the factory. Can something similar be done to my friend's car or does he have to buy an aftermarket CarPlay module? If it's the former then please let me know who can do it and if it's the latter, then any recommendations on brands?
