radio install help
 

I am in the process of replacing the factory Harmon headunit with a dvd based unit using the harmon amp if i can. I have the propper conncetors for the 2 main inputs. have all 4 channels wired to the line connections of the new headunit to the harmon amp. I believe the amp trigger wire is #5 at
connector c0098, connected to amp remote wire to the new headunit. And i still have now sound. ANY hints ???????
I have searched through post after post for this issue. I scanned over the factory wiring inputs/outputs to the BECM and they do not appear to control radio or amp function.
Is this possible, am i missing something to trigger the amp ??
i am working on a 1999 LRII W/HARMON PREMIUM AUDIO.
