And yes, if you notice in one of the shots, the amigos are on. I knew it was the shuttle valve and was doing zero off road with the Disco, so whatever. I at least had some buddies for the remote sections of driving.

When I got back I FINALLY did Option B and all is well.

Again, I’m to a steady state. I’m starting to debate a snorkel, but I dunno. I have some other service I need to do like bleed the brakes and such, so we’ll see...

The guys at Lucky8 continue to be enablers and offered a sale on on of the last possible bolt ones I could do. Stay tuned as it will be delivered on Tuesday and I’ll look to install next weekend.

This weekend? I get to finish removing the radiator in the RV to get re-cored. I don’t even know how many gallons of coolant are in there...

it it was funny as I was traveling all week for work and I missed the Disco...

Well, I’m going to be a kill joy. I decided to get a new car and the Disco is lowest on the Totem pole.

Can you share where you bought that map material, and what size is it?
Thanks!

You may be better off sending him a PM...since he sold this vehicle and may not check this topc again. He does pop in to the forums though. See him on facebook often, if you get no response here...just let me know and l'll see if l can get in touch with him.

Brian.

Thanks Brian. I PM'd him a few days ago with no luck.

If you see him on Facebook, ask him to check his forum messages.

Thanks again.

Hi guys! Umembuh me?

I was feeling nostalgic and decided to go back through this thread and read about all the pain and fun I had with this Disco.

I missed it so much I even sent a text to the guy who bought it from me. If he responds I may contemplate seeing if he would sell it back to me. We’ve moved to where we have some space now, and I’ll be getting a shop built, so I may get lucky and look to get another Disco for fun. I’ve contemplated a RR Classic as well, but I dunno. I got back to the Jeep and started modifying it and for off road it still has no equal, but I miss the LR community a bit. Talk me out of it. Please…. I need help….

Oh dear. Stand by…. I may have an announcement to make…. I think we are going to get another. A very nice example that we will be paying a decent amount for, but it would be a good one as near as I can tell. It will be a driver out of the hole with minimal done but I think my wife will love it as a back up car and a fun toy for the whole family.

If we get this one, it will never be sold.
