2004 D2 SE7 with 156k miles, not taken care of by two previous owners.

It needs everything!

Rear axle and diff overhaul. Whole carrier was replaced, o-rings, bearings and a fresh coat of paint:

Current status.... Got the heads back from machine shop. Today I'm starting the assembly process. Bonnet will be removed.

You can gentle stand the hood up a little higher, by securing it with a rope, going from one roof rack rail to the other. Just don't go crazy applying to much pressure while moving it rearward...doing it..."gently"...is the key to the whole operation.

Quite the deal on this, price-wise. Front bumper cover is probably worth that.

Current status: Heads are in, pushrods and rocker arm shafts are in. Next will be valley gasket and continue reassembling. Slow and enjoyable process.
