I can safely say that I know what your feet look like more than ANYone else on the LR Forums.

Loving the Magpie saga!

I suppose i should spill my next long term project, although i think you know what these pieces probably are. They aren't perfect, all hand made but within 1/8" of each other which is good enough for me! 11 gauge stainless, will be using stainless tubing but that will get sorted later along with hardware.

Not much to update other than my front drive shaft is going south fast.. I get horrid vibrations in my seat / feet right around 55mph and i've started to hear some chirping as well.. The sound is much to fast to be from the wheels so, i'm guessing its the front shaft. I can grease it up and it'll be fine for a day or 2 but then it'll start vibrating again -- One of the joints has to be toast. Don't have the money to get a fancy new shaft and I don't think i can use the Lucky8 shaft because MagPie is lifted 3"+ so just going to overhaul what i've got -- its the cheapest option for me at the moment.

Gonna go with Moog 344's for the joints and the 617 for the center ball.. Should i measure the diameter of the caps to make sure that the 344's are the same size before ordering?

Sounds like when mine went out. It was bad. I could feel major vibration through the p-brake handle, which also helped diagnose. Good luck.

Been eyeballing a ball joint kit like that for awhile from harbor freight.

Oh and instead of risking it, why not lock the cdl, drop the front shaft and run it rear wheel drive until you rebuild
