Defender TD5 90
 

Hi
My engine keeps cutting intermittently whilst driving.
Cuts for a split second, engine light comes on and then goes off again.

Not near a dealer so can't check diagnostics.

Any suggestions as to what would cause this? Happening more frequently each time I drive.

That will be oil coming down the injector wiring loom down into the ecu.
Needs a good clean with brake fluid or renew.
