skunk/roadkill

The fam. and I could not miss a skunk, a few nights ago. I've washed, put a sprinkler under the truck and I still smell it. so, I did a squirt bottle of ammonia and rinsed again............. still have the oder of my college dorm room..... What to do? not at my main home now....so diy/home remedies are very much welcomed.:eek:thanks:eek:

Drive through heavy mud that should seal it in :D

Spray the under carriage with tomato juice?

You shoulda had a V8... agree on acidic wash, maybe one of those $10 sprayers.

as an update. no more skunk smell. nearest one stop shop/gas station/ food market/ weird bingo machine place was 18 curvy miles. I purchased all the tomato juice(2 bottles), a couple of clamato drink things, and a can of cambells tomato soup. had no sprayer, but had a little application success with an emptied windex bottle... finally decided splash with small cup from a bucket was more efficient. applied the concoction, and 24hrs later, I rinsed. no longer, do I smell like a skunk. however, I do still smell like a bowl of tomato soup.......I can live with that, much easier.
thanks
