1999 Discovery I with no functional analog gauges but indicator lights working
Okay, so this weekend, I was driving around and noticed that having just filled up the tank on Friday night, the gas indication was going very quickly to empty. I also noticed at the same time that there was NO speed indication and the RPM indication never lifted off zero as well. The odometer and temperature gauges have also failed and are indicating nothing. The lights come on when starting the vehicle but I've not seen any while running. The only thing that used to come on intermittently was the "BRAKE" light which was odd because it would come on whether the emergency brake was engaged or not and would flutter on/off with each bump in the road.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated as this is a very frustrating and potentially expensive problem. I'm wishing and crossing my fingers for "blown fuse" but don't want to just start swapping parts until I find what's wrong because I could actually cause more damage than I try to fix. At least, for now, it still runs!

Check your brake fluid level, if it is low it will set off the brake warning lamp.
Remove the instrument panel, lower the steering wheel, there are two phillips screws, remove them.
The instrument panel will wiggle out, check for loose connections, etc.
I am betting the gauges came unplugged.
