8.25/16 conversation,tips, pros'n'cons

I know most of oldschool rover owners run on 7.5/16 and recently on of my friends run on 7.5/16 Michelin xzl wich was pretty much 32" ,we put our rigs side by side and i am running on 33/10.5/16 regrooved ...the differences weren't so big as we talk about the height of tire (we talk about an inch of difference with naked eye) i know it dosent make any sense bt it was really no any big difference...and at this point i am thinking to swap into 8.25/16 Michelin xzl ....i am running into 8"/16 rim with -25offset ....any tips about rim ...did i have to change rim as well? Also i need run on 4.75 gear ration at diffs ,any ideas or someone has done it allready ?
