You will be fine with the pump you got. The replacement for mine is a lot more than the pre AEL, and the pump I used was the same one you did. It is a fix, not a band aid.

I will say that I did some shopping around and Advance had 20% off online orders. I got mine for around $50, plus the injector line to replace the accordian tube. It never comes off right....

I wouldn't mess with anything unless it is broken..

 

Sorry OK - was not a slight to your information at all. All else aside, you are correct and I would be VERY happy with that pump - only that after I installed it, I realized that the two fuel fittings on the top of the assembly were beginning to crack. They are not fully cracked and are not leaking yet, but that is why I need to get the full assembly. This was something I screwed up because I was in too much of a hurry. Had I taken the time to really look everything over when you sent it - I would have made the right choice!
