Default 99 Disco / towing

Hello!!

I found a 99 Disco 1, one owner with 165K miles on the clock. Im going to look at her later in the week and if all checks out i might buy. I just wanted to verify that if i tow on a dolly i have to disconnect the rear driveshaft? If not i have to flatbed? I read through the "what to look for" post in the tech section, but does anyone have any other pointers that i should look for?

Thanks in advance!!

I was told to tow a disco with a tow bar, meaning 4 wheels on the ground, just put it in Neutral.

You can put it on a dolly but drop the rear shaft.
