Yeah, I was always interested in why something failed. Ten years in the failure analysis lab gave me a lot of insight rarely achieved elsewhere. I will be happy to assist the user community in any way that I can in helping expnad our knowledge base on these beasts. We certainly cannot afford to chase the wrong causes and do not need to purchase inferior quality parts if we can do better by knowing more.

Yes I'm deeply offended and although the constitution nor the bill of rights guarantees my right not to be offended, I'm going to call my local congressman and have them draft a bill to ensure I don't get butthurt on this or any other land rover forum. And if it does happen, I'm sure our illustrious attorney general will shut this site down due to a lack of diversity in the discussion of vehicles that don't adhere to today's CAFE standards.
