Bias Valve/Proportioning valve Leak!!!

I have a steady leak from my Bias valve. Its coming from the rear(closest to firewall). what is under the cap that is put on from the factory? Is it just a plug or something i can pull out and reseal better?

thanks

Is this the part you are talking about? If so just replace it.

yes, replace it

x3 on replacing it. it's easy to do. i didn't even need to bleed the brakes after.

i picked up a used one from some guy parting out his D1. much cheaper than a new one.

i understand i need to replace it.....they are not cheap by any means. There are no D1's at the boneyard at the moment either so a used one is not an option. I was just wondering if that plug on the back can be pulled and a new o-ring installed or something along those lines. I need my truck and I hate to say it but i just dont have 300 bucks at the moment.

do a quick search for Paul Grant and/or Will Tillery.

both guys sell used LR parts. they should be able to hook you up.
