Default Axle seal confusion

I am trying to figure out this Outer hub/axle shaft seal (#8 in the picture from the RAVE)

I am not sure if that seal is what is failing and causing my oil leak in the rear (the bearings had no grease on them but were covered in gear oil from the differential/axle, leading me to assume that gear oil can't get to the bearings unless the seal between the axle shaft and the hub is shot).

I am having the damnedest time trying to find the right part online, and it looks like everything is pointing me to the inner hub oil seal.

these are the only two that atlantic british has for a D1. Is the second one (FTC5268)?

Hub Oil Seal - Inner
Item: FTC2783

Hub Oil Seal With ABS - Rear
Item: FTC5268

I also can't figure out what the slightly bent part is in the second picture.

Stub axle inner seal is FTC5268 (I'm pretty sure)
For the hub seal RTC3511 you want, the rest are pretty crap.

I got the seal figured out now. The smaller of the two seals was what I was after, I just needed to pull the rear stub axle to see that.

Now I just need to figure out what to do about the paper gasket between the stug axle flange and the axle casing... The one that was on there tore a little as I was pealing it off.

I read somewhere to use an anaerobic gasket maker like Loktite 515 or 518. Is that advisable?

Just get a new paper gasket seal from Trevor @ rovahfarm or somebody. It's really cheap. I think on these Rovers it is better to use proper seals than to use gasket/seal makers.
