Cheapest replacement carpet site

Well I ripped out the seats and carpet. Now I need to buy full carpeting for it. Where is the cheapest place to get the whole carpet. I looked on eBay they have the carpet parted out into 3 pieces and 100 a piece plus shipping. There is no way it's 500 bucks for replacement carpet

Either a dismantler (parts guys on this forum) or salvage yard (not everyone is blessed with Rovers in their junk yard - once there for a while carpets are frequently trashed from vehicle left open, old greasy parts tossed in, etc.)

what about that really heavy insulation foam. if you don't replace that it'll never have that luxury feel again.

If you are local to the Chicago area and you want to do the work, you can have mine. My Disco is a wheeler and I just assume rip out all the carpet and dura-coat the SOB.

I just saw this but do you have any photographs of your finished floor interior without the carpet? Would love to see what others are doing as well in respect to carpet and insulation

Take that damn foam and throw it as far as you can..
That's what causes the rust...
Mine was pretty bad in the back...
I Laid screen wire across the holes and foamed the backend after treating with rust preventative... Then I installed a piece of 1/2" plywood on top of the foam.. When it cured.. Water proof floor... Coated the whole back end with truck bed liner... Also coated the underneath side where the rust holes, screen, and now foam are...Smoothed it all up.. You almost can't tell it's whole ass is rotting off...LOL !:D
Then I cut a piece of carpet to fit over the whole thing.. Job done..It's as quiet as it ever was...And if any water gets back there, It will evaporate without hurting anything now...
