Craigslist: 98 Disco in GA
This was so funny, I had to share it here:
This was a $35,000 SUV and its the biggest piece of crap ever made. Barely 100,000 miles and its been the biggest money pit ive ever had. In the last 6 months I have had replaced the entire fuel pump assembly ... the alternator... battery......power steering line kit... power seat motor...two power window motors... and now the oil just runs out of it ... I have spent $2500 on it in the last 3 months and I'm soooooo done with it and I want it GONE.. It is being sold for parts and assume its possessed by Satan himself . Here's the listing, in case anyone's interested in Satan's used car. |

sold for parts - probably does not have the title (title pawn, etc.). Would not buy a vehicle in Georgia without a title unless you like dealing with that sort of thing.

I can't laugh.. I am in the same boat I so feel like my 97 is Possessed. So hard to find parts for it. The South is not kind to these LUV.

I don't have problems finding parts...I have problems getting it to my house. I always have to order parts. Just got the hose today. pls pls pls fit.

And, the reason I'm able to buy these discos all day long for 5-800 bucks. Sure, they are a PITA but once you get over the learning curve they are pretty simple trucks. Alas, I have felt the same way about my trucks. Espesially that white one I worked on forever (with the bad computer). I was ready to pull my hair out with that one. |
