Disco distributor question

Hi all you rover gurus! I am have a blast putting back together a 1995 disco. Its the early model with the ignition module on the radiator support. The previous owner was pretty abusive to the old girl. The rig was cheap and I am having fun putting it back on the road. When i first got it, the vacuum advance was broke off but the motor ran pretty good! I replace the the dizzy with a pertronix D175520, removed the old module system and repaired a plethora of vacuum leaks (old crack hoses). It fires right up, idles very smooth, slightly stumbles when give throttle but over, its a smooth throttling until I put in gear. Then a nasty shake rattle and roll happen with the motor. I am starting to think maybe the original coil does not work well with a D175520 pertronix distributor? I have read two different coil suggestion for the 520 . A .6 ohm coil and a 1.5 ohm. So the real question is

1) Does the stock work well with a 520?
2) or is a .6 ohm required?
3) or is a 1.5 ohm required?

Thanks in advance for any help.

What did you set the static timing to? 5* BTDC static and 5* dynamic under 800 rpm with vacuum advance disconnected, idle should be set to 665 rpm in neutral with no loads. Did you remove the vacuum advance hose while run timing? Should not stumble at all when throttle blipped while parked, that tells me the dizzy is not set correctly. Wouldn't worry about coil until you can blip without hesitation. The coil has enough juice to idle so it won't effect motor in gear if timing is set right and there isn't a problem with the dizzy and the Pertronix are known for having issues right out of the box. I'd change the cap and rotor to OEM Genuine Lucus at first chance, they work. Most go with the Mallory's.......
