Discovery plastic headliner plug...help me find one?

2 Attachment(s)
Somewhere along the line the PO lost one of these. The one I still have is shown in the pic.

It's one of two retaining plugs that secure the center section of the headliner board to the studs along the roof framing. They live halfway between the sunroof and the map pockets.

I can't seem to find these from AB, and not knowing exactly what they're called has left me at a loss with Google searches.

Do any of you guys (and gals) know where I can purchase these online? My local Pick-n-Pull has no Land Rovers or Range Rovers at all.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me find one of these!!

Oh, and I'm sorry that the uploader turned my pics landscape. They weren't sposed to be that way!

most body shops will have these in stock and they are cheap. just take one to them and will probably just give you one. look up headliner clips on amazon, and you will find many.

Oh jeez, I never thought to call a body shop. I'll do that tomorrow. And I never tried searching Amazon for "headliner clip". I'll do that too!

Thanks for the tips!!

I found them somewhere called 'Christmas trees' and there are about a dozen variations from the length to the type of head they have.

Try these

Ooooh, those clips from Apex look promising! I'll measure my existing one and cross-reference with the chart in that link.

Thanks Jim!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say those are not 'stock' but rather something the prior owner used to keep the headliner material from sagging.

Thats what we call them down here, pretty common and used in most local vehicles.

You're probably right. But whatever the PO used, they fit the factory stud on the roof rail flawlessly. That's why I was looking for a duplicate.
