Discovery rear door stop?

Hi guys, I have a 1996 Discovery and when I open the rear (boot) door it swings all the way around until it bounches off the corner of the bumper.
Is there supposed to be a rear door stop that stops it going back past certain angle as it is making dent in the rear door!!

There should be a stop on the bottom on the hinge side of the door youll have to get down on your knee and look up underneith the door. Itll be a flat piece of metal atatches to the truck with a rivet and on the door I honestly forget...If you do a search on lubricating door hinges I know spike did a write up a while back that may have some pics

Thanks for the reply Long Haul. Found that the strap had become detached and was flat up under the rear door. I have lubricated the guide rail and hinges and reattached the strap to the little knob on the rear sill - everything good now - simple fix!! Thanks again. :D
