Discovery wont start now

So this morning I tried starting my vehicle and everything but the fuel pump works. I replaced the fuel pump with the Airtex E3270 already today and it didn't solve the problem, I probably should have looked into it before buying a new one. Already checked the inertia switch and the grounds. I just turn the key and no fuel pump hum, it will crank and there is spark just no fuel. Im probably over thinking this one, but if someone could please point me into another direction, any and all help appreciated.

Check the fuel pump connection in the drivers side rear wheel well, un-plug and check for corrosion/contact/power. Check for power at the inertia switch then back to the pump relay.

I am guessing you have a 97, do you have something to show live data

Got it all figured out it turned out to be the multi-function relay not closing the connection to the fuel pump. I just over thought everything and forgot how to use a DVOM and jumper wires.... just me freakin out prematurely. I figured it was something I did when I did my plugs and wires. But thanks anyway guys!
