Is there any specific reason you went with AutoZone over AB or RN?

Also when you get the old one off, take pics of them side by side. Is the AutoZone the same quality construction as the original?

I Paid $115, i didn't read about using the cheaper chevy clutch till after or I would have done that to save money.

I used auto zone because they could have it the next day and I need it in by the weekend.

I just looked, RN has the Pro Line for 139, AB has theirs for 149.

Wonder how the quality and performance of the AutoZone unit is?

I may need one sooner or later.

The one from AutoZone for the Chevy is a TorqFlo, it is a good well known aftermarket brand with a lifetime warranty, cant go wrong there.
It is $50 Danny, if you want to spend the $140 plus shipping from your friends at RN go for it.
I first got my LR fan clutch from AutoZone and it was the wrong one, it would not fit, the nut was to small and would not screw onto my water pump, bought the Chevy one and screwed right on.

Well after careful consideration, I would go with your vote of confidence and use the $50 one for something like that. I appreciate the info Spike, as I will most likely include that on my next major under-the-hood repairs.

Just thought I would ask for input before making the decision on which one to get.

Understood completely, if you look under the fan clutch thread in the tech section you will see the actual application on the fan clutch that you need so you can order it from any where you want.
I had to wait a day while they transferred it from another store for me.
I support Rover parts suppliers but I also need to feed my family.

I took my Chevy severe duty back 2 months after I bought it at Autozone and swapped it for the standard duty. I am happy it works like a charm. I had lost about a day off a tank of gas because of the severe duty being always on, now with the standard duty and new plugs and wires I have actually gained an extra day of driving per tank of gas. still not getting Phils fuel economy but getting closer!!!
