After a few months stuck on 7-12s I finally got a chance to get out in my shop and lift my Disco. Bought a slightly used HD Emu kit from ebay springs and shocks less than a year of use. Had a farm truck that had kicked the bucket so I removed an almost new set of 235/85 Mt's off of it. I tossed around the idea of doing reversed steelies but instead bought a set of 1 1/2" billet wheels spacers. This thing looks and drives like it is huge now ground clearance is crazy probably won't have to worry about my wife wanting to driver it ever again. No major issues looks like I will probably do a tiny trim on the front bumper corners, and push the bottom of the rear quarters out a tad until I buy some flares. Here are a couple of pics before, after and during

What's your trade. 7 12s sounds like construction

Just put the tires on it this morning, checked it for clearance and drove it home from the tire shop. I would say a little trimming here and there will need to be done. As for the steering stops I have not even went full lock with them on it but seeing as how thick the spacers are I seriously doubt it would rub

Did you put spacers on all 4 corners? or just up front?

All the way around. I had just the fronts on in the shop before I lifted the rear but it looked kinda funny

Both of our careers are good choices when the economy is up, nothing like things used to be when work was all over. I really enjoy my job taking things that don't work on blueprints and paper and making them reality. I have put countless hours into one off parts in some of these places that no one will ever see or know what thought it took to get it working.

Looks manly now. I just need to get mine done, when the money is available
