It only took me two weeks with my schedule lol. But I wanted to install my switches for my (future) lights and what not where they looked good and are easy to get to. As it turns out theres just ennough room to clear the sunroof motor and everything else up there. And they provide a cool lighting effect. so I also changed my map light to red.

Interesting. Very different with the red cockpit

I think I would find that somewhat distracting. I would rather have them out of my line of sight when driving. Like somewhere on the dash or even the console.

Where is your map light?

I guess some may like the "mood lighting".

More importantly, where are you tapping the power from for your new future lights?

the red lights arent bad at all for me at night, and the map lights are up under the rearview. and ive wired in a harness that goes down to a relay for each switch and each relay has a inline fuse. and those are already to go. So at this point all I have to do is run the power wire from each relay to the respective locations on the truck and hook up the lights. My plan is to have 2 (switch 1) on the damge multiplier up front. 4 across my light bar I have (switch 3 and 3). and then a work lamp in the back (switch 4).

So now I just gotta drop some $$$ on some high end lights

I have seen quite a few of the new style LED high intensity spot and flood and work lights pretty reasonably priced that could be incorporated for a variety of uses and they come in several sizes, styles and lumens. Those would be snazzy.

Aren't you going to add any neons for underneath or maybe in the wheel wells? Maybe some soft mood lights in the rear cargo bay?

And tie them into the sound system too?

Just kidding of course. We would all like some good floods, spots and work lights on ours. Keep us posted.

Interesting. Clean install. Never understood why more people don't go this route, though?

The additional fog lights switches are definitely the easy way to go with it. Been a long time since I have seen a CB radio.

I see that Brad carries his prayer beads around with him, that is good practice. His switches kind of have that aero look.

I like the old fashioned spot light mounted on the driver's side post like the old cop cars had with the hand controls.

Actually, running the wires cleanly to the switches was a PITA.
I use the CB when I'm wheeling. They work much better than those crappy Motorola Walkabout junk radios everybody wants to use. I actually get irritated when people come out wheeling and don't have a CB. Then they get all pissy because they are at the back of the pack and don't know why we stopped.

I actually run a cobra 29ltd on the back of my console. With a magnetic antenna on the roof.
