Fitting SE7 seats into an SD
Member on the BMW Forum and his father recently took over operations of a small junkyard near my college. So I went over to see what they had.
First thing that caught my eye was a CLEAN D1. Thing had a small fender bender and that's what did it in.
I opened the door and the interior was ALL complete, down to the radio and ash trays Only thing missing was the window switches.
I noticed the leather was a very nice tan leather as well as the door panels. Small bit of cracking on the driver's seat cushion but otherwise mint. It had a rear sunroof panel which lead to believe it's an SE7. Poor truck only had 98k miles on it. The switches for the seats were on the side of the storage partition in the center console so I'm assuming I'd either need that one or need to cut mine.
But other than that, does an SD still have all the wiring in place? And are SE seats heated?
Thanks!
