I would like to use them as my "everyday" rims. I've been told they will not fit (lug pattern).

Jake1996D1 Apr 3, 2012 04:17 PM

uhhh, sell them?

Or buy someting to put them on?

Sorry for the confusion; How can I use the D2 wheels on my 97? Ive seen adapters, but they are expensive. Or should I just pay the $400+ and get the adapters... Is there any other way?

Jake1996D1 Apr 3, 2012 04:30 PM

You would have to buy an adapter.. Which like you said isnt cheap. I guess it's all up to how bad you want to run them :D

I'd rather buy steel NATO wheels.

Spike555 Apr 3, 2012 08:22 PM

I'd sell them and buy steelies.
They will not fit without adapters.

Consider them an un-needed gift (free Money) and sell them. If you add adapters and use them, your turning radius will be worse, the adapters may strip studs, we have seen that on spacers which are adapters as well.

I would not want to waste money and effort using them on a 4500 pound when empty off-road capable vehicle. Sell them to some DII nut. Buy something worthwhile.

Adapters would have to be wheel spacer style so they would improve turning radius and the studs would be fine. However finding a hub centric set would be nearly impossible if lug centric sets may induce additional vibration.

With that said I would still sell them :D
