Hurt puppy Part II
Taking the 05 LR3 to the body shop for an estimate FINALLY. Geico is like pulling teeth. They have the insurance on BOTH in this one and the guy that wackes us got the ticket so it is his nickle.
We are going to get the estimate in writing then take it to a Land Rover Approved shop and see what they missed or went to low on then decide who fixes it.
If we go with Geico it is 100% guaranteed to be fixed to Krysti's satisfaction. I am married to her and that is not h going to happen. She and I are judges for Mercedes Benz and I am the NICE guy with taking off points she will nit pick every car since there is no such thing as perfect when she judges.
This could be fun.
Looking at this from this angle I can see the body panel, which is uni body, is twisted and pushed back. Not an easy fix.

Seen a lot worse. A competent shop should be able to slap that out without much of and issue.
In my younger days I use to buy totaled cars and then have them rebuilt for resale. It's simply amazing how some of these shops can work their magic. Worst one was a 90 Honda Accord, (Keep in mind that this was in 90-91, So the car was still worth something) had hit a tree and rolled 3 times. Guy put it on a laser rack and pulled it all back to spec. It's looked brand new when he was done. Total job took him about a 2 weeks. I ran into guy that bought it from me a couple years later, he was still driving it and said it was the best car he had ever owned,
Good luck on the repair, I would suggest doing a google on whoever they pick to do the work and checking out the shops rating.
