Default New chapter in the automotive book of life.

Well guys, It looks like the chapter "Land Rover" has come to end, Tonight the front end of my 1998 Land Rover Discovery had a little game of chicken on Highway 285 and Won, But not without becoming Totaled in the process.

I was doing 60MPH passing a van in the left lane and right as i got beside the van, The deer proceeded to jump from the median in front of my vehicle and thats when it happened. The deer was instantly exploded, And i pulled over to loaf n jug... She now sits overnight, Smashed waiting to be towed.

So i guess what this is, If your interested in a parts car 1998 Land Rover discovery, With OME 2" Lift Shocks and Heavy duty springs, Aftermarket deck, Aftermarket speakers, After market Subwoofers, Custom jumpseat replacement fabbed in Sub box on each side, Comes with unpainted push bar, pair of Bright PIAA reverse lights in back, New serp belt, Comes with 2 timken bearings, a rear spindle and axle seal, Have original book, window sticker, Somewhat of a record of service, New Prostart battery.

NO GRILL, NO FRONT BUMPER, NO HEADLIGHTS, NO FRONT DIRECTIONALS, NO HEADLIGHT TRIM, NO HOOD, NO PLASTIC FRONT, NO RADIATOR, NO CORE SUPPORT BRACKET, NO FAN OR FAN MOTOR.

Miles on the truck are at 84K, Id be willing to let everything goes for 1500OBO

Another deer killin' disco - sorry about your loss, glad you are OK, if frame is OK, you might consider a buying trip to a salvage yard, truck should have a lot of life left in it. Dismantler would also be an option, but freight would be high.

My disco got killed by a 17 year old in a honda civic that pulled out without looking. I was doing 45 when she pulled out and I swerved to save her life instead of ripping her apart.

Sorry for your loss but the asking price for what is left seems absurd when you get a running rover for that much.

Good that you are okay. Would be a good part-out and the rest of the car to be recycled.

My friend hit one in the Santa Cruz mountains in his 67 Mustang. Boy, meat hanging off that thing and the smell, it fared far better than the Disco though.

We had a 325 wagon that ran over the dead dear in the middle of february. All the guts froze to the car and we had to clean off of it off the bottom. It took about a half an hour to clean all the guts and hair off the bottom of the car. There were chunks so big hanging on the driveshaft you could have three filet mignon steaks.

Sorry about the loss amigo. But, I'm interested in some parts. Aftermarket head unit, speakers, subs, clock bulb, and shifter illumination bulbs? PM me if needed. Thanks

Also, can you explain the reverse lights? Are they in the stock housing?
