A 98 LSE in excellent condition sold this past sunday for 2500. Not what you want to hear but they are going very cheap.

i suspect the pricing for these is highly regional as well - id assume values may be higher in non-rustbelt states.

and for what its worth i paid $2500 for a clean, all records since new, 97 5spd that needed a couple of missed maintenance items.

Just bought my dII with the full rack all the brush guards and 3 week old rubber for 2500, in need of a head gasket...

But that's a good looking truck you have there, The bumper and rack up it's value, Depending on rust, miles, engine work (Head gaskets been done yet?) etc. I would guess it in the 3-4000 range (1500 of that being the rack/extra lights bumper and winch) Documented current HG etc would bring that price up again. Condition of the interior, working A/C front and rear, working sunroofs, a repaired headliner, dash curl, Ya know the drill...

I'd give $3000

For a truck you have one picture of? what if the floors are rusted away and it has a blown head gasket? Just sayin.

I remember this truck for some reason - I think there is something fishy about it.. Would be interested in hearing more of the story behind it

Current pics and detailed info on when & how you came about owning it as well as documented history would go a long way in determining it's current cash value.

If it is as good as it looks 3-5K may be realistic. If it looks good but needs a lot of $$$ to complete what it needs, it is just another money pit/ a pig in a fancy dress as they say down on the farm.

My opinion in selling these trucks is to address the common fears everybody has heard.

Electrical, head gaskets, parts availability etc. After pulling my engine I think I would also adress the simplicity of the drivetrain.
