I have a set of 33x12.50 sumper swampers that I can probably fit on it with some trimming but I'm worried about the rear diff...I'm thinking about welding the carrier and see what it does..if it expoldes then i'll have to get a locker.
I think I saw this one on craigslist... Was it the guy that hat it and another listed for 4k OBO one being a parts truck?

My point is you got one hell of a deal.
Ya he did. I would have been all over that like stink on a skunk.

BTW, If you ever want to get rid of all that junk, I'd buy them from you.
I would slap it all on my white 96 and give you all the factory bumpers/brush guards/ drive lights etc also.... I have been looking for a disco with all the crap on it to do this very thing... can't believe I missed this one.

jmchkin, do you ever go to mt. aetena? As soon as i get this D1 ready that's where we're going.

this rover has been for sale about a year..i've talked to the guy several times..he started out asking $2,600...I'm surprised it went this long without selling.

Ya, I check and it was not the one of the pair I was talking about. The guy with the pair wants way to much... 1 is a non-running 96 missing the rearend the other is a badly beatup 95 with the front tube bumper and winch and hailed int. He's asking 4k of the pair...just not worth anywhere near that.

BTW, my understanding is that the access road to Mt. Aetna has been gated and closed... What's the word on that?
