P0102 Code DiscoI Costa Rica
 

In Costa Rica in my D1 - Drove from Fort Lauderdale. Passing through on my way to Argentina.
Just had the truck and engine washed. Engine would start but not throttle up.
Removed and dried all the air intake sensors. Got it running ok, but was running a bit rough and hard to get from idle to throttle up to get it on the road. Manual transmission.
Check engine light came on. Ran my scanner, got P0102 Code saying Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit low input.
Any ideas?

You may have got your MAF wet, or there could be water in the ECU, its on the left fender and was once water proof, but not anymore.
If you got water inside the MAF and the little wire thingy got wet you are screwed.
You can try cleaning it with MAF cleaner if you can fine some, otherwise carb cleaner as a last resort.
Next thing would be a used one as new ones are $1500.
