Passenger Side Relays...missing...WTH...

2 Attachment(s)
While looking for the fuel gauge issue, I pondered to check the pump relay for the heck of it. I pulled off the cover to discover two empty relay sockets. Two yellow relays socket had their own relay, check. I added relays to the empty ones to see what would happen.....nothing. I turned on the headlights and blew the exterior light fuse.

I pulled off the relay and replaced the blown fuse. The lighting system is back to normal....hummmm...

Can anyone advise what they are both used for????

Contrary to rave, the fuel pump relay is not in the passenger footwell, it is part of a multi-fuction unit under the hood. Many make this mistake.

Check page 50 under component location table, located in electrical troubleshooting section of rave. It says there are various a.b.s. relays, one for windshield washer, etc.
