Rear Jump Seat Bracket

2 Attachment(s)
I'm removing the jump seats, and I would like to remove the mounting brackets as well. I have the rear air, so I have the cage mount on the driver's side. All bolts out except for one tricky one. It looks like it has a spot weld on the bolt, as it turns with the entire bracket.

Any ideas on how to get this out? It's a tight spot and will be difficult to cut. I've seen these brackets out with the jump seats on eBay quite a few times, so I was surprised to find a weld on the bolt. Tried to take pics but hard to get focus.

Well, I feel like an idiot. Yes, the bolt is welded to the cage mount. But, after pulling and tugging, it dawned on me that maybe there's a nut on the other side. Sure enough, there's a nut in the wheel well. Spun right off and out came the bracket.

Didn't see anything in the RAVE about this bracket, so for anyone doing the same, hope I saved you some trouble. :)

I'm ready to do mine - the left hand seat just takes up too much room! I think I'll keep the right one though - for now. Russ

Those Torx screws are in there! The left side was easier than the right. For the right, I needed to use a 1/4" combo wrench with a Torx bit taped in it to get to two of the mount screws.
