Rear rotor brands?

Hi everyone,

Just looking for peoples' experience with rotors for the rear. What brand(s) have been good and are there any to avoid?

I can locally get Beck Arnley, Napa Premium , Fremax, Brembo. Those are listed in ascending price order (cheapest to most expensive).

Any experiences with those? Any issues?

Thanks :)

been running Brembro rotors and beck arnley pads for the past 1yr or so - work just fine. Your never really going to improve on the under powered brake system of these vehicles

Thanks for replying.

Not looking for additional stopping power with the rears (I'm doing the D90 front upgrade and have another thread for that), just wondering why a huge price difference between the brand's II mentioned.

To give you an example of the local prices:

Beck Arnley - $107 CDN ($80 USD per rotor)

Fremax - $160 CDN ($120 USD per rotor)

Brembo - $190 CDN ($142 per rotor)

When i look at CarID, the US prices are significantly different and cheaper even with the exchange rate. For Example, the Fremax are $32 USD ($46 CDN)... a huge difference vs local prices!

I'm probably just gonna give my money to Trevor at Rovahfarm. Support the local community that has supported me ;)

I've found this to pay dividends later in some form or fashion. Karma and all that.
